February Post - 4 hrs.

 I continued volunteering for the Miracle League throughout the month of February. We concluded our kickball season and are now gearing up for baseball season!

One of my favorite parts of the month of February is Mardi Gras. During the last week of kickball season, we held a mini parade for the kids to ride in. Their parents constructed floats and the kids threw beads to their Miracle League buddies, family, and friends. It was really a great moment to see--especially being from New Orleans. I remember being a kid and having my parents pull my float and feeling like the King of Carnival season!
